Experiential Learning Activities
- Guided tour of a plant nursery with interaction with nursery professionals
- Hands-on seed sowing, potting, transplanting, and plant propagation
- Explore propagation methods including seeds, stem cuttings, grafting, and layering
- Learn about soil types, composting, organic manure, and plant nutrition
- Identify native, ornamental, medicinal, and fruit-bearing plants
- Understand watering methods, nursery management, and plant-care practices
- Participate in plant observation, illustration, group discussion, and presentation activities


Learning Outcomes
By the end of the program, students will be able to:
- Understand how plants are propagated, nurtured, and maintained from seed to sapling
- Understand the role of nurseries in afforestation, urban greening, biodiversity conservation, and ecological restoration
